Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain Import Documentation from overseas suppliers and US Customs documentation from freight forwarders/freight carriers.
  • Verify information on import Commercial Invoices against Purchase Orders and communicate discrepancies to relevant departments.
  • Update the Transit Log with all import shipments, including SKUs, quantities, POs and tracking information, ISF and duties owed.
  • Verify Import Values and submit value verification form to FTN.
  • Maintain records storage per US Customs regulations ensuring proper documentation for USA entry.
  • Create Commercial Invoices for all exports, verifying Country of Origin by analyzing BOM.
  • Review stock shipments for export by verifying quantities, HTS classifications and country of origin.
  • Create and verify Commercial Invoices for Titleist Performance Institute and other exports, verifying HTS codes and COO.
  • Issue Free Trade Agreements (FTA) and COO Certificates for shipments that qualify.
  • Other duties as needed

Job description

Job Description: Completes the daily administrative tasks of insuring our import and export shipments are in compliance with US Customs regulations. Monitors and completes paperwork associated with international shipments (both import and export shipments) in a timely manner.

Primary Responsibilities: Time Essential Duty Responsibilities IMPORTS:
  • Organize and maintain Import Documentation from overseas suppliers and US Customs documentation from freight forwarders/freight carriers.
  • This includes verifying the information on import Commercial Invoices against Purchase Order information; communicating discrepancies to suppliers, Receiving, Purchasing and Accounting Depts.
  • Update the Transit Log with all import shipments, including SKUs, quantities, POs, tracking information, Import Security Filing (ISF) and duties owed.
  • Verify Import Values and submit value verification form to FedEx Trade Networks (FTN.)
  • Maintain records storage per US Customs Compliance regulations by ensuring that each import has appropriate documentation for entry in to the USA.
  • Create Commercial Invoices for all Custom Club orders being exported. This includes verifying the Country of Origin for each item by analyzing the Bill of Material (BOM.)
  • Review all stock (non-custom) club shipments for export by verifying quantities, HTS classifications, and Country of Origin for each item and ensuring all paperwork is correct and complete.
  • Make corrects when Create and verify Commercial Invoices for all Titleist Performance Institute, Engineering and Maintenance Depts., and other Miscellaneous export shipments. This includes verifying HTS codes/schedule #B and country of origin.
  • Issue Free Trade Agreements (FTA)and Country of Origin (COO) Certificates for each shipment that qualifies.
  • Other duties as needed
Experience

At least one year experience with import/export procedures and knowledge of required documentation required; Computer literate, including MS Excel, excellent organizational skills. This position includes frequent phone and email communication, so good verbal and written communication skills is required.
