Logistic Pricing Analyst (Sr. Staff)The Logistics Pricing Analyst – Warehousing & Distribution leads pricing strategy, cost analysis, andcommercial contract management across direct-operated and 3PL networks. This role is responsible forend-to-end RFP/RFQ execution, vendor sourcing (MHE, staffing, racking, automation), cost modeling, andoperational procurement workflows utilizing Samsung’s internal logistics platform (Cello).Key Responsibilities:Pricing, Cost Analysis & Executive Reporting· Build dynamic cost models (storage, labor, equipment, VAS) to evaluate 3PL proposalsand benchmark against direct-operation costs.· Generate executive-level reports, pricing summaries, and scenario comparisons tosupport strategic decision-making and site selection.· Analyze rate structures and identify cost-saving and operational improvementopportunities across distribution centers.Sourcing & Contract Management (3PL & Direct Operations)· Lead RFI/RFP/RFQ processes for 3PL warehousing operations and direct-operationsupport vendors (staffing agencies, MHE providers, rack installers, automation systems).· Partner with Legal, Procurement, and Operations to draft, review, and maintain serviceagreements (MSAs, SOWs, SLAs), rate cards.· Oversee contract extensions, pricing amendments, and scope-change controls withinternal/external partners.· Conduct vendor benchmarking, commercial evaluations, and bid comparisons to ensurecompetitive pricing, service capability, and compliance with internal procurementrequirements.Logistics Platform (Cello) & Cross-Functional Collaboration· Execute end-to-end procurement workflows within Samsung’s Cello platform, includingRFQ floating, vendor quote consolidation, and commercial bid evaluations.· Oversee contract and billing administration in Cello, ensuring timely registration ofmaster rate cards, monitoring billing settlements, and resolving cost variances.· Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, IT, Legal, and Finance to ensure pricingaccuracy, operational feasibility, and system alignment.Ad Hoc Projects & Strategic Initiatives· Lead and support ad hoc logistics, sourcing, pricing, and operational projects driven byevolving business requirements, customer needs, and management priorities.· Develop rapid business cases, cost analyses, market benchmarks, and sourcingstrategies for new warehouse operations, network changes, customer opportunities, andspecial projects.· Support new site launches, expansions, relocations, operational transitions, and othertime-sensitive initiatives from initial feasibility assessment through vendor sourcing andimplementation.· Evaluate emerging logistics technologies and solutions, including warehouseautomation, MHE, robotics, and other productivity-enhancement initiatives, from bothoperational and financial perspectives.Required Qualifications:• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance,Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; 5+ years of experience in logisticspricing, cost modeling, warehousing procurement, or contract administration.• Technical Proficiency: Advanced MS Excel (financial/cost modeling, pivot tables),PowerPoint, and enterprise logistics systems (Cello, TMS, WMS, ERP).• Cost & Contract Acumen: Strong understanding of warehousing cost drivers,equipment leasing/purchasing, labor rates, and commercial contract structures(MSAs, SLAs, rate exhibits).• Communication & Synthesis: Proven ability to translate complex data into clearleadership presentations and manage multi-stakeholder cross-functional projects.Preferred Skills:• Experience working with large-scale distribution networks or multiple DCs.• Prior exposure to MHE leasing/purchasing, pallet pooling agreements, or temporary staffingprocurement.• Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Logistics, or similar methodologies.• Knowledge of compliance standards and safety regulations in warehouse logistics.Pay Range: $75,000/year ~ $101,000/yearBenefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k)retirement plan; paid sick leave; life, accidental death & dismemberment(AD&D), and long-term disability (LTD) insurance; and optional voluntarylife/AD&D coverage.
