Leisure Hotel in Baxter, MN is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee multiple resort properties, ensuring accurate financial statements and strong internal controls in a hybrid work setting.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in accounting, hospitality experience, and proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred). You will manage AP/AR, payroll, GL, budgeting, and month-end close while collaborating with property managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in hospitality or resort industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
• High attention to detail and integrity.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements for multiple resort properties.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Collaborate with property managers and other departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Utilize NetSuite or similar ERP systems to streamline operations.
