Job summary

Dexterra Group is seeking an experienced Lodge Manager to lead a large-scale workforce accommodation site, overseeing operations, safety, guest services, and financial oversight. This onsite leadership role requires coordinating multiple service lines and managing a unionized workforce in a fast-paced environment.

The position emphasizes safety culture, client satisfaction, and operational excellence, with rotations such as 14/14, 21/10, or 28/14.

Qualifications

Proven leadership experience in workforce accommodations, hotel, hospitality, or industrial services.
Experience managing large, multidisciplinary teams.
Experience with unionized workforces is an asset.
Strong knowledge of health, safety, and compliance systems.
Experience managing budgets, inventory, reporting, and cost controls.
Strong client service and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution capabilities.
Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
Proficiency with operational and reporting systems.
Post-secondary education in hospitality, business, or related field is an asset.
OSHA 30.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operation of the lodge, ensuring all services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract requirements.
Lead core service areas including accommodations, front desk, food services, housekeeping, janitorial, recreation, and guest services.
Maintain operational continuity in a high-volume environment with fluctuating occupancy and workforce demand.
Monitor occupancy, guest movement, room allocation, and site logistics for smooth execution.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, service delivery, hospitality, and guest satisfaction.
Lead, coach, and support supervisors and frontline employees across multiple functions.
Manage workforce performance, coaching, accountability, and performance management processes.
Support employee relations, investigations, discipline, and grievance handling.
Align staffing with operational needs, occupancy forecasts, and budget requirements.
Serve as primary operational contact for client representatives and stakeholders.
Provide timely and accurate reporting, daily summaries, and billing support.
Monitor KPIs, audit findings, and site trends to drive improvements.
Oversee onboarding, workforce records, and administrative compliance.
