Job summary

Target Hospitality is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to support a portfolio of lodge locations. You will coach site leadership, help manage budgets, and ensure service quality while covering off-rotation periods.

The role requires multi-site operations experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to travel between sites. A bachelor’s degree and ServSafe are preferred; 6 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• 3+ years of operations experience in hospitality or workforce housing.
• 1-2 years of leadership experience supervising teams.
• Multi-site or remote-site operations experience preferred.
• Experience supporting operational budgets, cost tracking, and variance reporting.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and act on it.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Valid food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent) preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety culture and adhere to SOPs, JSAs, and policies.
• Oversee day-to-day operations across lodge locations, including hospitality, food service, housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk.
• Act as the operational point of contact during off-rotation to ensure continuity of leadership.
• Coach Lodge Managers on standards and service delivery.
• Assist in managing budgets and flag variances to the Operations Manager.
• Conduct site visits and audits for compliance with standards and regulations.
• Monitor occupancy and staffing to meet demand and contracts.
• Support client communication and resolve service issues promptly.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on staffing and employee relations.
• Maintain SOP consistency and reporting across locations.
• Assist with lodge mobilization, expansion, and demobilization.
• Coordinate with vendors on scopes, scheduling, and performance.
• Prepare operational reports and KPIs for leadership.
• Support emergency response and business continuity.
