Job summary

Woodward Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada is seeking a hands-on Lodge Services Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning and maintenance of lodge facilities, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. You will lead the Lodge Services team, assign tasks, train employees, monitor supplies, and coordinate staffing for daily operations while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial, housekeeping, or facilities experience.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Ability to train, motivate, and hold team members accountable.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and flexible.
• Ability to perform physical cleaning duties and work in cold weather conditions.
• Must be comfortable working around the public and assisting guests.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and support the Lodge Services team.
• Assign daily duties and ensure cleaning standards are met.
• Oversee cleaning and maintenance of lodges, restrooms, kitchens, dining areas, and common spaces.
• Perform hands-on cleaning duties as needed, including vacuuming, bussing tables, emptying garbage, and cleaning surfaces.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment and maintain inventory as needed.
• Conduct facility inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and familiarity with SDS information.
• Coordinate staffing needs and daily operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist guests and employees as needed.
