Job summary

Woodward Tahoe is a year‑round action sports facility located in the Sierra Nevada, near Boreal and Soda Springs. The Lodge Services team requires a supervisor to train staff, assign daily duties, and maintain high cleaning standards across lodges, restrooms, kitchens, dining areas, and common spaces.

Responsibilities include hands‑on cleaning, inventory management, safety inspections, and proper chemical handling.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial, housekeeping, or facilities experience required.
• Strong communication and organization skills essential.
• Ability to train, motivate, and hold team members accountable.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and flexible.
• Ability to perform physical cleaning duties and work in cold weather.
• Comfortable working around the public and assisting guests.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and support the Lodge Services team.
• Assign daily duties and ensure cleaning standards are met.
• Oversee cleaning and maintenance of lodges, restrooms, kitchens, dining areas, and common spaces.
• Perform hands-on cleaning duties as needed (vacuuming, bussing tables, trash, surface cleaning).
• Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment; manage inventory as needed.
• Conduct facility inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and SDS familiarity.
• Ensure employees follow company policies and BRC safety standards.
• Coordinate staffing needs and daily operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist guests and employees as needed.
