Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a travel assignment in Rock Hill, SC. You will provide CT surgery coverage with a 1:2 call ratio and respond within 30 minutes.

Expect 3–6 patients per shift and 1 admission per shift; PAs take the first call and perform open and endoscopic CT procedures. Required are extensive CT surgery skills, including CABG (on-pump/off-pump), valvular repairs/replacements, aneurysm repairs, and congenital defect repairs

Qualifications

• Cardiothoracic surgery skills required including open and endoscopic procedures.
• PAs handle first-call and cover CT surgery shifts with defined on-call ratio.

Responsibilities

• Call coverage with 1:2 beeper ratio; 30-minute response time.
• 3–6 patients seen per shift; 1 admission per shift.
• CABG on-pump and off-pump; valvular repair/replacement; aneurysm repair.
• Congenital defect repair including ASD, VSD, PFO.
