Weatherby Healthcare is seeking an intensivist-level clinician for an inpatient CV/thoracic surgery assignment in Minneapolis, MN. Role includes rounding and admissions with open and endoscopic procedures, including CABG, valve, and aneurysm repairs, plus TAVR/LVAD/AICD as needed.

The position requires a 20-minute call response, 24‑hour coverage, and 4–5 consults and patient visits per shift. Travel and housing expenses are prepaid, with versatile compensation and Weatherby support.

Qualifications

• Experience with general CV/thoracic surgery procedures.
• Ability to manage inpatient rounding and admissions.
• Proficiency with open and endoscopic surgical techniques.

Responsabilités

• Handle a 24-hour call with a 20-minute response time.
• Perform 4–5 phone consults and see 4–5 patients per 24-hour call.
• Participate in CABG, valvular and aneurysm repairs; TAVR/LVAD/AICD as described.
• Rounding and admissions in an inpatient setting.
• Bronchoscopy, vent management, and related procedures as required.

• General CV/thoracic surgery -- open and endoscopic procedures required
• CABG (on pump and off pump), valvular repair, aneurysm repair required
• TAVR, LVAD, AICD placement, lung resection including VATs required
• Bronchoscopy, vent management, esophagus and diaphragm surgeries required

From $375.00 to $450.00 hourly
Ranges shown should be used as an estimate and are affected by many factors including the critical need of the position, your overall experience and qualifications, and other considerations.
