Job summary

CompHealth offers ophthalmology locum assignments with flexible durations—from a day to years—across various locations, backed by expert guidance tailored to your career stage. Typical days run Monday to Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with a busy schedule of about 20 patients per shift and 12–14 procedures daily.

Housing, travel and malpractice coverage are arranged. Required: cataract removal, intravitreal injections, phacoemulsification, glaucoma and corneal procedures; ultrasound and fluorescein

Qualifications

• Cataract removal and intravitreal injection experience required.
• Phacoemulsification, glaucoma, and corneal procedures required.
• Ultrasound and fluorescein angiography interpretation required.
• Hospital privileges required.

Responsibilities

• Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm; 9-hour shifts; busy, productive practice.
• Two weeks on, two weeks off rotation.
• 20 patients per shift; 12–14 procedures per day.
• We negotiate better pay and provide weekly deposits; housing and travel arranged.
