Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum ophthalmologist for an outpatient clinic in New York. Work 3-4 days per week for a 6-8 week assignment, with 30-35 patients per day.

Eye exams, photo interpretations, SLTs, YAG lasers, and iridotomies are performed; visual fields and OCTs are required. No hospital privileges required. Weatherby provides paid malpractice, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, and 24-hour access to a Weatherby consultant.

Qualifications

• Outpatient ophthalmology experience required.
• Proficient in eye exams, photo interpretations and laser procedures.
• Ability to perform SLT, YAG laser and iris procedures as needed.
