Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking ophthalmology coverage in Wisconsin for a clinic-based position. The schedule includes four clinic days with one day dedicated to procedures, typically Monday through Friday.

The assignment supports 30+ patients per clinic shift and 8+ procedures on dedicated procedure days, with a 1:4 on-call rotation and a 20-minute response time. Hospital privileges are required, with paid malpractice and travel/housing arranged.

Qualifications

• Ophthalmology specialty with preferred cataract, LASIK, PRK, YAG, glaucoma or corneal procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clinic rotates four days per week with one day for procedures.
• See 30+ patients per clinic shift.
• Perform 8+ procedures on dedicated procedure days.
• Be prepared for a 1:4 on-call rotation with beeper and 20 minute response time.
• Minimal callbacks or 0–1 consults per 24 hours.
