Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare invites ophthalmology locum tenens physicians to join a busy outpatient clinic in Michigan. The schedule features Mon–Fri, 8 am–5 pm with 9-hour shifts, no call, and a rotation of two weeks on and two weeks off.

You will perform cataract surgery and intravitreal injections, and handle anterior segment, glaucoma, and corneal procedures, ultrasound interpretation (A- and B-scan) and fluorescein angiography. Weatherby provides malpractice coverage and prepaid travel and housing.

Qualifications

• Busy outpatient ophthalmology clinic setting.
• Cataract surgery and intravitreal injections required.
• Anterior segment, glaucoma, and corneal procedures performed.
• Ultrasound interpretation (A/B-Scan) and fluorescein angiography required.
• Mon–Fri, 8 am–5 pm -- 9hr shifts, no call.
• Paid malpractice insurance; prepaid travel and housing expenses.

Responsibilities

• Manage outpatient ophthalmology patients in a busy clinic.
• Perform cataract surgeries and intravitreal injections.
• Contribute to anterior segment, glaucoma, and corneal procedures.
• Interpret ultrasound (A/B-Scan) and fluorescein angiography.
• Record assignments in the online portal.
