Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum tenens physician for an ongoing assignment in Delaware. The schedule includes 7 am–5 pm shifts (10 hours) with call coverage 5 pm–7 am, Monday to Friday, treating 1–6 patients per shift with rounding on assigned patients.

Candidates should be skilled in PTCA, stents, caths, echo, stress, EKG, and familiar with nuclear and TEE studies. Travel and housing are prepaid; 24-hour access to a Weatherby consultant is available, and this is a full-time, ongoing

Qualifications

• Physician with cardiology expertise and board-appropriate qualifications.
• Experience with STEMI inpatient/outpatient care is preferred.
• Ability to perform PTCA, stents, caths, echo, stress testing.
• Proficiency in nuclear studies and TEE as required.

Responsibilities

• Mix of clinic, procedures, and inpatient coverage.
• Rounding on assigned patients and managing 1–6 patients per shift.
• Call coverage: 5 pm–7 am, Mon–Thu nights.
• Daily assignment details and time entry in online portal.
