Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is recruiting for a hospital-based interventional cardiology locum tenens position. Coverage is needed 5–6 days per month with on-call duties from 7 am to 7 am and possible inpatient rounding.

Required are PTCA, stents, caths, echo, stress and EKG experience; nuclear and TEE are a plus but not required. Weatherby provides paid malpractice insurance and prepaid travel and housing expenses, with 24-hour consultant access and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Experience in interventional cardiology procedures.
• Hospital privileges required.
• PTCA, stents, caths, echo, stress and EKG experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventional cardiology coverage 5–6 days per month.
• Be on call for emergent cases from 7 am to 7 am, with possible inpatient rounding.
• Work in a hospital-based interventional cardiology setting.
