Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare offers locum tenens staffing for physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners across large healthcare networks, hospitals, and clinics nationwide. You’ll cover a mix of clinic, procedures, and inpatient care, with flexible dates and ongoing assignments.

Assignments include paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, and 24-hour access to a Weatherby Healthcare consultant to coordinate dates and details.

Qualifications

• Required skills: PTCA, stents, caths, echo, stress, EKG
• Nuclear and TEE also required

Responsibilities

• Mon - Fri, 7 am - 5 pm with 10-hour shifts -- ongoing assignment
• Call coverage: 5 pm - 7 am, Mon - Thu nights
• 1 - 6 patients per shift; rounding on assigned patients
• Mix of clinic, procedures, and inpatient coverage
• STEMI, inpatient, and outpatient populations treated
• 4 weeks per month needed -- full week assignments required
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal
