Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare invites an experienced interventional cardiologist for locum tenens coverage in the Virginia Beach area. The assignment requires expertise in PTCA, stents, caths, echo, stress testing, and EKG with hospital privileges.

On-call duties run 7 am to 7 am, with potential inpatient rounding as needed. Coverage is 5–6 days per month, and Weatherby provides paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing, and ongoing consultant support.

Qualifications

• Must have hospital privileges.
• Coverage of 5–6 days per month.
• On call for emergent cases from 7 am to 7 am.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital-based interventional cardiology services.
• Take on-call duties for emergent cardiology cases.
• Participate in rounding and inpatient care as needed.
