Job summary

77 consultants seeks a board-certified physician to provide inpatient neurosurgery coverage in Virginia. Position is 40 hours per week, from mid-December 2026 through at least April 2027, Monday–Friday 8:00–17:00 with 8 on-call hours.

Requirements include Virginia license, active ACLS/BLS, DEA registration, and a clean malpractice history. Proficiency with EPIC and strong communication with patients and families are essential.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 0800 to 1700 hours

Patient Demographics:

Adult and geriatric populations

Care Setting:

100% Inpatient care

Average Patient Load:

Variable, dependent on hospital admissions
