Job summary

Market Street Staffing seeks a Neurovascular/Advance Practice Provider in Richmond, VA for a long-term locum position. This 1099 contract role involves 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, day and night coverage from 7:00 to 7:00, with EPIC EMR and 120-day credentialing.

Requirements include board certification, BLS/ACLS, and 1+ year Neurovascular Surgery experience or equivalent. Licensure in Virginia and NCCPA/AANP certifications are expected.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Nursing and NP specialty.
• MPAS degree from an accredited program.
• Active APRN license in Virginia; NP or PA credentialing as applicable.
• Board certification in a relevant specialty.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions.
• Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
• Perform procedures as allowed by state regulations.

Reasonfor Coverage: Long-term permanent search

PracticeSetting:

• No Call or OR coverage
• Responsibilities include code stroke response and post-procedure care for neuro-interventional surgery patients

Schedule:

• 3 12-hour shifts per week
• Day and night coverage needed, 7:00-7:00

EMR: EPIC

Credentialing: 120 days

Requirements:

• Board certification
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum1-year Neurovascular Surgery experience or equivalent

Job Responsibilities (Generalized):

• Activeand unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse(APRN) license in Virginia
• Nationalcertification as an NP in a relevant specialty area by arecognized certifying body (e.g., American Academy ofNurse Practitioners [AANP])
• Activeand unencumbered physician assistant (PA) license in Virginia
• Nationalcertification from the National Commission onCertification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

Experience:

• Whilespecific requirements may vary, most locum APP positionsprefer candidates with at least one year of experiencein a clinical setting relevant to their specialty

Travel:
