Job summary

Confidential is seeking locum pathology coverage in the United States. Assignments may be as short as a day or as long as years.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8 am–4 pm, with no call. Expect ~12–15 surgical pathology cases daily; histotechnologists assist with small biopsies; grossing of large specimens is required; cytology includes FNA; no Pap smears, no bone marrow, no autopsies; about 100 cytology cases in scope.

Qualifications

• Board-certified pathologist required.
• Experience with surgical pathology cases preferred.
• Comfort with large specimens and grossing.

Responsibilities

• Handle 12–15 surgical pathology cases per day.
• Perform grossing of large specimens.
• Participate in cytology including FNA.
• Work Monday–Friday, 8 am–4 pm with no call.
• No Pap smears, no bone marrow, no autopsies.
