Wabtec Corporation in Topeka, KS is seeking a materials advisor to support locomotive maintenance by ensuring materials are available and properly managed on-site. You will work closely with customer teams and Wabtec experts to deliver efficient logistics and inventory control.

The role includes forklift operation, cycle counts, order processing, and collaboration with customer management to maintain fleet readiness.

Competenze

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Experience in logistics or shipping/receiving.
Experience safely operating forklifts and other shop equipment.
Experience with inventory software and Microsoft applications.
Ability to complete Wabtec Materials Certification Training within 12 months from hire date.
Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, as required.

Mansioni

Assist with maintaining materials for locomotive repairs and maintenance.
Operate forklift and perform daily cycle counts.
Pull material from warehouse and coordinate inbound/outbound shipments.
Run inventory reports and process warranty claims.
Support forecasting of material needs and ensure accurate receiving and shipping processes.
