Job summary

Wabtec Corporation in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking Assemblers to assemble locomotive/mining components, install wiring harnesses and piping, perform light welding, and apply paint as part of a coordinated manufacturing team.

You will use standard machine tools such as drill presses, band saws, lathes, lasers, pipe benders and spot welders, while ensuring safety and quality. A 4‑day, 10‑hour shift supports a balanced work schedule.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints, schematics and manufacturing instructions.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with electrical and/or pneumatic hand tools.
• Able to work from blueprints and follow assembly instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble locomotive/mining components including wiring harnesses and piping.
• Operate and maintain a variety of hand, electric, and pneumatic tools.
• Perform welding tasks and test assemblies for leaks and malfunctions.
• Help improve manufacturing processes through prototyping and fixtures.
• Maintain safety, quality, and teamwork across shifts.
