Job summary

Wabtec in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a Maintenance Tech to maintain and repair equipment to safeguard safety, quality, and cost. The role requires troubleshooting, teamwork, and the ability to work on varied tasks across the plant.

The position offers a 4-day, 10-hour shift (Mon–Thu, 3:15pm–1:45am) with a night differential. Candidates need 3+ years in industrial or facilities maintenance, a HS diploma or GED, and willingness to pass drug tests and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must have a mechanical aptitude and experience in maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years industrial or facilities maintenance experience (including preventive maintenance of production equipment/machinery, general plumbing, industrial electrical wiring).
• Must be willing to wear PPE and work in a tobacco-free environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and able to work overtime, weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform equipment mechanical maintenance and repair work.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Handle and position machinery and equipment with precision using cranes or forklifts.
