Job summary

Wabtec Corporation is seeking an assembly technician for 2nd shift in an industrial setting. You will assemble, test, and inspect components using engineering drawings and test codes, working with electrical and mechanical equipment.

The role requires 1+ year of assembly experience and strong listening and communication skills. Benefits begin day 1, including medical/dental/vision, life insurance, and a 6% company contribution to the 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of assembly experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Ability to use tools and equipment for assembly operations.
• Good listening and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and inspect per engineering drawings and test codes.
• Work with electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble equipment.
• Maintain and service assembly and test equipment as required.
• Move material to and from the workstation by hand, cart, or crane.
• Adhere to 5S, safety rules, and maintain clean work areas.
