Wabtec in Fort Worth is seeking assemblers to build locomotive/mining components. Tasks include wiring harness installation, piping connections, and basic welding. You’ll use drill presses, band saws, lathes and other tools while helping improve manufacturing processes and supporting a culture of cooperation.
Minimum 1 year with electrical/pneumatic hand tools, ability to read blueprints, and 18+ with a high school diploma or GED. Shift schedule 4-on-4, consistent overtime possible, PPE required.
Assemblers will perform multiple tasks while manufacturing locomotive/mining components, to include the installation of wiring harnesses and associated components, installation and/or connection of piping, limited tack welding, paint and associated application processes and material movement. Assemblers will use a variety of hand, electric, and pneumatic tools. Assemblers are responsible for working together to improve manufacturing processes and promote a climate of cooperation.
