Job summary

Orange County Government’s Facilities Management Division seeks a skilled Trades Technician III to maintain, replace, and repair locks, door hardware, and keys. The role requires interaction with staff, clients, vendors, and contractors, working independently under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 4 years' related work in doors and hardware.
• Equivalent combination of education or experience accepted.
• Valid Florida driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair locks and security devices.
• Maintain door hardware and hydraulic closers.
• Cut, issue, and track keys.
• Interpret Master Keying guidelines and manage key records.
• Assist other trades personnel as needed.
