The Locksmith III provides master-level and supervisory level skills in the repair, resetting and installation of locking devices and the manufacture of keys. Requires frequent contact with other employees in the delivery of keys, locks, repairs, doors, hardware or broken glass. Works individually and is self-sufficient. The employee in this class may function as the lead workers and will review work of subordinate employees. Responsible for the supervision of activities relating to lock, key services, records, and proper security of University buildings.
