Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Locksmith at its National Harbor, Maryland property. You will install, repair, and maintain a range of locking systems, manage access control, and respond to urgent lock issues while collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of locksmith experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and holds the necessary license/certification. The role includes benefits and an on-site work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of prior relevant experience in repair, installation, and maintenance of locking devices, with license/certification/registration.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, rebuild, and service mechanical or electrical locking devices using hand tools and special equipment.
• Determine proper method to be used in key cutting and duplication, and stamps codes on key with index.
• Issue keys for interiors and exteriors, maintain records of key assignments and locks, and function on emergency response.
• Set‑up and maintain a master key system.
• Utilize computer programs for keying and specification writing.
• Maintain and inventory locks, lock parts, and related materials.
• Inspect locks and change combinations on safes and vaults; perform emergency opening services.
• Adhere to safety and security regulations; provide high level customer service.
