Job summary

FlyLock Security Solutions – MetroWest MA is seeking a full-time locksmith to install, repair, and maintain locks, door hardware, safes, and access control systems on commercial properties in central Massachusetts. The role is on-site, with responsibilities including rekeying, master keying, installing smart locks, and servicing doors and frames.

The technician will interact with clients, document work, manage tools, and collaborate with team members to deliver reliable, professional service.

Qualifications

• Locksmithing skills including installation, repair, rekeying, and safe services.
• Ability to read diagrams, safety codes, and manufacturer instructions.
• On-site customer-facing role requiring a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Rekeying and master keying locks and safes; SFIC/LFIC and conventional cylinders.
• Install and service smart locks on commercial properties.
• Work with doors, frames, hinges, and door closers; service hardware.
• Interact with clients, document work performed, manage tools/materials, and collaborate with team.

Company Description FlyLock Security Solutions – MetroWest MA is a trusted provider of Locksmith and access control security services in the central mass area.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Locksmith role based in the central Massachusetts area. The right Locksmith will be able to install, repair, and maintain locks, door hardware, safes, and access control systems mainly on commercial properties.

Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to,

Rekeying and Master keying locks, SFIC, LFIC and conventional cylinders.

Installing and servicing smart locks

Doors and frames

Door closer installations

The Locksmith will interact directly with clients, document work performed, manage tools and materials, and collaborate with team members to deliver reliable, professional service.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in locksmithing, including lock installation, repair, rekeying, and safe services.
• Experience with general maintenance and repair, including door, hinge, and hardware maintenance.
• Ability to read and follow technical diagrams, safety codes, and manufacturer instructions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnosing and resolving security issues.
• Comfort working on-site at customer locations, with a professional, customer-focused approach.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to work.
• Ability to lift and maneuver doors, hardware, and equipment as required by the role.
• Prior experience in commercial security, locksmithing, facilities maintenance, or a related trade is preferred.
