Job summary

Hollman, Inc. in Irving, Texas, a world-leading locker manufacturer, is seeking a Project Engineer to translate architectural intent into engineering for Athletic projects.

You''ll produce submittal drawings and work with Project Manager and production to ensure on-time delivery. Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, resolving conflicts, applying DFMA, generating BOMs, releasing information on schedule, and keeping ERP data current.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of engineering experience in cabinetry, millwork, or store fixtures.
• SolidWorks design and modeling experience.
• Working knowledge of DFMA (design for manufacture and assembly).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Close attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in the Irving, Texas office.

Responsibilities

• Interpret architectural intent from drawings, specs, and documents.
• Find conflicts and raise them with the PM before submittals.
• Produce submittal drawings, elevations, sections, details, renderings, finishes.
• Deliver submittals on schedule and flag risks to dates.
• Plan projects with manufacturing and installation in mind.
• Convert approved submittals into complete production information.
• Apply DFMA principles for efficient builds.
• Perform material takeoffs and manage BOMs and orders.
• Release information on schedule for lead times and dates.
• Resolve engineering questions during build and manage changes.
• Own the engineering for projects and coordinate with teams.
• Keep ERP data current in Infor SyteLine.
• Drive process improvements and new technology.
