Job summary

Hollman, Inc. in Irving, Texas, is seeking a Project Engineer to translate architectural intent into precise engineering for athletic projects. You will produce submittal drawings and project information for production, coordinating with the Project Manager and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.

Apply DFMA principles, manage material takeoffs and BOMs, and release information on schedule. You will work with Infor SyteLine ERP and collaborate across engineering, production, and purchasing

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of engineering experience in cabinetry, millwork, or store fixtures.
• SolidWorks design and modeling experience.
• Working knowledge of construction and assembly methods and DFMA.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Close attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in office in Irving, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Interpret architectural intent from drawings and specifications and raise conflicts.
• Produce submittal drawings ( elevations, sections, details, renderings ) and revise for approval.
• Deliver submittals on schedule and flag risks early.
• Plan projects with manufacturing and installation in mind for cost and fit.
• Convert approved submittals into complete production information.
• Release information on schedule so purchasing and production dates are met.
• Coordinate with internal teams and outside parties across both engineering and PM stakeholders.
