Hollman, Inc. designs and builds lockers at a 350,000-square-foot facility in Irving, Texas. We engineer and supply custom solutions for athletic facilities and institutions across the United States.

The Project Engineer turns architectural intent into precise engineering for Hollman’s athletic projects and coordinates with the PM and customer to deliver submittals on time. You will work with production and purchasing to convert submittals into production data, apply DFMA principles, and release

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of engineering experience in cabinetry, millwork, or store fixtures.
• SolidWorks design and modeling experience.
• Working knowledge of construction and assembly methods and DFMA.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Close attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in office in Irving, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Produce submittal drawings ( elevations, sections, details, renderings and finishes) and revise until approved.
• Deliver submittals on schedule and flag risks to dates early.
• Plan each project with manufacturing and installation in mind for lowest installed cost and best finish.
• Convert approved submittals into complete production information.
• Apply DFMA principles for efficient, consistent production.
• Perform material takeoffs, generate bills of materials, and manage orders for architect-approved materials.
• Release information on schedule so purchasing lead times and production dates are met.
• Resolve engineering questions during build and manage changes after release.
• Own the engineering for projects and coordinate with internal teams and outside parties.
• Maintain workflow information in Infor SyteLine.
• Drive process improvements, best practices, and new technology.
