Job summary

The Locker Room Attendant is a part-time, non-exempt role at The Boys' Club of New York. Located at 321 E111th Street, New York, NY 10029, the position ensures smooth locker room operations during program times and supports members' positive experiences.

Responsibilities include monitoring members, counting in/out, maintaining the locker room and surroundings, reporting damaged materials, applying behavior management strategies, attending trainings, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Six months to one year of work experience.
  • Demonstrated organizational leadership ability.
  • First Aid and CPR certification desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and interact with members to ensure safety.
  • Count members in and out and monitor transitions.
  • Monitor locker room, entry, exit ways and stairs.
  • Care for materials, organize room, report damage.
  • Use behavior management to defuse inappropriate behavior.
  • Attend required department meetings and trainings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Locker Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the locker room area during program times

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and positively interact with members at all times to ensure members are safe in the locker room area
  • Ensure count of members in and out of area; monitor member transitions
  • Monitor locker room and surrounding areas including entry and exit ways and stairs
  • Ensure proper care of all materials organize room and report any misused or damaged materials
  • Use behavior management strategies to defuse inappropriate behavior
  • Attend required department meetings and professional development trainings
  • Other duties as assigned
