Job summary

Los Altos Golf & Country Club is seeking a dedicated Locker Room Attendant to support members and guests in the locker room. You will assist with shoe care, manage towels and amenities, and maintain clean locker areas and showers.

Role requires excellent communication, reliability, and the ability to work with lockers and digital locks; eligible benefits include medical, dental, vision, and more. This is a full-time on-site position in the Bay Area club environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral communication and a cheerful, friendly attitude.
• Ability to interact well with membership and colleagues.
• Experience caring for and restoring athletic shoes and golf shoes.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Install/setup locker room components and digital locks; troubleshoot locks and codes.
• Fold and stock towels; manage inventory of towels and supplies.
• Restock amenities (shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, etc.) and maintain cleanliness of showers and locker areas.
• Ensure showers, saunas, and restrooms are clean; notify maintenance for issues.
• Maintain safety and security of members' belongings and overall locker room cleanliness.

Come be part of something special – apply today!SUMMARYAttend to locker room needs of club members and guests.MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:This role does not have any managerial or lead responsibilities.SUCCESS CRITERIAAbility to communicate well with membershipAbility to work with and get along with other locker attendantsAbility to learn technical aspects of programming and maintenance of Digital locksAbility to learn and excel in shoe care.Responsible to avoid membership complaints on shoe care, locker cleanliness and amenities stocking.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInstall/setup various parts of member lockers including shelving and digital combination locks; frequent troubleshooting and/or replacing digital combination locks and programming member combination codesFold/Stock clean bath towels for members; Stock new hand towels for members; Remove and store dirty bath and hand towels in basement for laundering pickupFill water cup holders/water dispenserFill/restock all amenities: shampoo/conditioner, paper slippers, deodorants, shaving cream, lotion, cologne, etc.Ensure showers and tile floors are clean; notify maintenance/janitorial service for issuesClean and keep Sauna room hotCheck/fill hand soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers, Kleenex dispensersCheck/fill toilet paper and seat cover paper dispensersClean and shine golf and street shoes, stretch tight shows as requestedInstall replacement cleats on golf shoes as requestedInstall replacement shoe laces as requestedOrder Locker Room supplies/amenities for both locker roomsClean and drain Air Compressor Machine (Monthly)Ensure cleanliness of restroom floors; wipes mirrors and walls; cleans basins, lavatories and showers.Provides for the safety and security of all members’ and guests’ personal property.Maintains inventory of supplies.Cleans and maintains hot tub, sauna area and other special facilities and equipment in locker room.Completes other assignments made by the Locker Room Manager.WORK ENVIRONMENT:This role operates in the Locker Room areas of the Club and requires working some hours standing and/orwalking through locker room and/or basement where supplies/towels are stored.
