• Ensure safety and security of members' and guests' belongings.
• Maintain inventory and supplies and coordinate with housekeeping.
• Transport towels to and from laundry and manage occupied lockers list.
• Clean and maintain steam room area and other locker room facilities.

Job Purpose:

A Locker Room Attendant ensures the cleanliness, organization, and security of a locker room, assisting patrons with lockers, equipment, and answering questions, while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for members and guests.

Job Summary (Essential Functions):

• Greet and Assist members and guests.
• Assign lockers and provide instruction on their use.
• Maintain a clean and organized locker room, including restrooms and showers.
• Restock towels, toiletries, and other supplies as needed
• Performs personal services, for example: shines shoes, replaces golf shoe spikes, etc.
• Provides for the safety and security of all members' and guests' personal property
• Maintains inventory and supplies
• Transports towels to and from laundry area
• Maintains a current list of occupied lockers
• Cleans and empties garbage cans and baskets
• Cleans and maintains the steam room area and other special facilities and equipment in locker room
• Communicates supply needs to Housekeeping and Locker Room Manager
• Ensures all locker room standards are maintained

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs as well as stand for extended periods of time. Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, stooping, and squatting.

Qualifications:

• Education
  • While not always requires, a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience
  • Prior experience in customer service, retail, or sports related field preferred
• Skills
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor and able to communicate effectively
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety protocols
  • Ability to keep the locker room organized with efficiency

Work Schedule and Hours:

This is a full-time position, comprising nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Flexibility is required as the employee may be expected to work outside of these hours, including evening, holidays, and weekends as business needs arise.
