Sharon Heights Golf & Country Club in Menlo Park, CA, is seeking a full-time Locker Room Attendant to greet members, assist with lockers, and keep the locker room clean and welcoming. You\'ll restock supplies, provide minor services like shoe shines, and help maintain security of patrons\' personal belongings.

The role includes early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. Prior customer service experience is preferred, with a focus on safety and clean facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in customer service, retail, or sports-related field preferred.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor; able to communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members and guests.
• Assign lockers and provide instruction on their use.
• Maintain a clean and organized locker room, including restrooms and showers.
• Restock towels, toiletries and other supplies as needed.
• Provide personal services (e.g., shines shoes, replace golf shoe spikes).
• Ensure safety and security of members\' and guests\' personal property.
• Maintain inventory and supplies.
• Transport towels to and from the laundry area.
• Maintain a current list of occupied lockers.
• Clean and empty garbage cans and baskets.
• Cleen and maintain steam room and other facilities in locker room.
• Communicate supply needs to Housekeeping and Locker Room Manager.
• Ensure all locker room standards are maintained.

Job Purpose:

A Locker Room Attendant ensures the cleanliness, organization, and security of a locker room, assisting patrons with lockers, equipment, and answering questions, while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for members and guests.

Job Summary (Essential Functions):

• Greet and Assist members and guests.
• Assign lockers and provide instruction on their use.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs as well as stand for extended periods of time. Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, stooping, and squatting.

Work Schedule and Hours:

This is a full-time position, comprising nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Flexibility is required as the employee may be expected to work outside of these hours, including evening, holidays, and weekends as business needs arise.
