Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking an experienced Location Manager to oversee all aspects of the Homer, Alaska site, including sales, operations, production, delivery, purchasing, and inventory control. The role directs daily operations, staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance while driving profitability and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, at least four years of related managerial experience (preferably in building materials), and a strong track record in staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• Four years related managerial experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination.
• Prior experience in building materials industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall sales (professional and retail), operations, production, delivery, purchasing, and inventory control of the location.
• Direct daily operations and report from the Online system.
• Develop and implement inventory control programs to meet location inventory levels and turns.
• Involve in recruiting, hiring, and training; establish staffing to reduce turnover and boost profits.
• Motivate staff, maintain productivity, and train successor management; approve wage increases and set performance objectives.
• Recommend capital improvements based on forecasted demand and equipment efficiency; manage maintenance program.
• Support safety initiatives to ensure OSHA and DOT compliance.
• Communicate and enforce company policies; act as liaison between employees and management.
• Obtain feedback on customer satisfaction and manage budget accountability and reporting.
