Job summary

Final Mile is seeking a Location Manager to lead day-to-day operations at the assigned location(s). You will build strong client relationships, recruit and manage staff, and drive profitability with independent contractor partnerships.

You will monitor P&L, control expenses, and communicate with DIA, DIM and client staff. The role requires proven leadership, effective communication, and organizational skills, with a college degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven leader capable of guiding teams and delivering results.
• Strong communication skills for client interaction and internal coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve targets and improve operations.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Focus on relationship with client to gain 100% of appliance delivery business.
• Focus on Independent Contractor Partnerships (Profitability & Compliance).
• Achieve goals set forth by the client & Hub Group Final Mile.
• Develop and hold staff accountable (if applicable).
• Continuously recruit and retain Independent Contractors.
• Manage claims and their processes with FOC assistance.
• P&L Management (Controllables).
• Delivery Expense and Operating Expense oversight.
• Communicate effectively with the DIA, DIM and client staff.
• Lead Daily Stand-ups and weekly ride-alongs to ensure client satisfaction.
