Job summary

Heartland Co-op in Iowa seeks a dependable facility operator to handle grain, fertilizer, and related commodities at our elevator/warehouse site. You will receive, store, and load products, operate end loaders, forklifts, conveyors, and support equipment while maintaining accurate inventory logs.

Responsibilities include assisting with scale operations, monitoring grain conditions, coordinating with transport teams, and performing routine maintenance and housekeeping to ensure safe, efficient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, logs, and memos.

Responsibilities

• Receive and properly store commodities into the facility.
• Load customer and Heartland Co-op trucks/trailers with products.
• Assist with scale operation and inventory records.
• Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping in facilities.
• Monitor grain quality, temperature, and bunker storage as applicable.
