Job summary

NEW Cooperative Inc. is seeking a location leader to direct, promote, and coordinate all business aspects of the site. You will work with Area and District Managers to drive growth, oversee staff, logistics, safety, and customer service, and ensure the location meets its budget and operational goals.

The role requires significant agribusiness experience, CDL HazMat certification, and strong team leadership. Expect a dynamic, safety‑driven environment focused on growth and service.

Qualifications

• Significant agribusiness experience; at least 5 years in grain and/or agronomy operations.
• Must hold Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement and pesticide handler’s license.
• Strong interpersonal communication across varying personalities, roles, and circumstances.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures.
• Understand seasonality of farm supply business and in-season time commitments.
• Thorough knowledge of grain handling equipment and unit train loading.
• Knowledge of custom application and related agronomy equipment.
• Proficiency with common computer programs and data systems.
• Solid math skills for account balancing and purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise location employees and provide guidance for the team.
• Set vision and leadership for the location; schedule and lead meetings.
• Coordinate education and development of staff; interview and extend offers.
• Oversee receivables as needed and enforce safety practices as defined by safety staff.
• Review inventory reconciliations with area managers when discrepancies arise.
• Collaborate with dispatchers and area managers to execute daily logistics plans.
• Support sales and marketing programs across departments; assist daily operations.
• Work toward meeting annual location budgets and explore expansion opportunities.
• Promote company culture and communicate with Area Managers, District Managers, and senior leadership.
