Job summary

Disney Television Animation in Glendale, CA, is seeking a Location Design Lead to partner with the Executive Producer, Art Director, and Producer to realize the series' creative vision. The role ensures stylistic consistency and efficient production across episodes.

You will lead Location Designers, guide reviews, and help manage budgets, schedules, and revisions to maintain show quality while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating ability to design in varied tones and styles.
• Ability to align with the style and sensibility of the show.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Executive Producer, Art Director and Producer to execute the creative vision.
• Ensure consistency of background style across episodes.
• Break down Location Design needs for each episode with Production and Art Director.
• Assign and distribute Location Design tasks when Art Director is unavailable.
• Oversee BG Design & Paints teams and maintain design consistency.
• Adhere to production schedules to ensure timely production.
• Lead art reviews with Directors and leadership when Art Director is unavailable.
