Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a freelance localization QA lead to manage client quality standards for German (Switzerland) and English content across UI, marketing, information, legal, product, and support.

You will act as the main linguistic contact for the client's Language Manager, coordinate alignment sessions, and deliver structured monthly quality reports while coaching reviewers and improving processes.

Qualifications

• Three to five or more years of experience in Localization Quality Assurance (LQA), senior language leadership, quality governance, or related field.
• Native-level proficiency in German as used in Switzerland and professional-level English.
• Direct experience as the primary point of contact for client Language Managers or equivalent stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage formal linguistic arbitration, quality escalations, stakeholder disagreements, and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Analyze style guides, glossaries, and client quality updates to identify changes and document revised expectations.
• Monitor client feedback and calibration discussions to ensure language team follows standards.
• Serve as the primary linguistic contact for the client's Language Manager and manage arbitration processes.
• Organize regular alignment roundtables to improve consistency and reinforce quality standards.
• Prepare structured monthly quality reports covering performance and improvement priorities.
• Coach reviewers through concrete examples and targeted training based on quality data.
• Analyze error patterns and severity trends to identify root causes and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop evidence-based proposals for style guide updates and share cross-locale insights.
