Duolingo is seeking a Localization Lead within Scaling Operations to turn high-volume localization work into durable, scalable systems across 30+ languages. You will own end-to-end programs that improve launch speed, quality, and efficiency, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and language partners.

You will drive automation, own vertical metrics, and build workflows that increase throughput and quality.

Qualifications

• Proven localization strategy development with product, design and engineering partners.
• Experience leading localization programs in cross-functional consumer apps.
• Tech-savvy with workloads management using modern tools including AI, CMSs and CAT tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive automation and system improvements to scale localization from 0-to-1 and beyond.
• Own the metrics for your vertical to inform strategy and prioritization.
• Cultivate relationships with marketing, product, design, and engineering to develop a localization roadmap.
• Establish workflows and tooling to increase throughput and quality across the localization system.
