Job description

We are seeking full-time Night Shift yard spotters to join our team in Hartwell, GA! We are looking for Spotters able to work a set schedule at ONE customer site (12-hour shifts will include 1 weekend night). Overtime is paid for any hours worked over 40 per week. The position will start at $18.00 per hour with eligibility for raises based on safety, reliability, teamwork, and performance! We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug-Free Workplace.

Responsibilities

• Safely move trailers to and from the warehouse dock to yard locations in a timely manner
• Professionally interface with the customer, local management team, and on-site vendors in a professional manner
• Maintain a Safety-First attitude

To Successfully Secure This Opportunity, Candidate Must

• Maintain a valid Class A CDL license
• Be at least 23 years of age
• Have prior experience as a yard spotter, exhibiting the following:
• Good Safety Record
• Good physical condition; must be able to get in and out of trucks several times per day
• Good backing skills
• Ability to operate in extreme heat and cold, depending on elements
• Be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Have a great attitude and strong work ethic
• Have 2 years recent, verifiable tractor/trailer driving experience or related
• Not have any DUI/DWI, Careless/Reckless driving citations, or revoked/suspended license in the past 5 years
• Not have more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years
• Exhibit an on-site driving skills assessment test (current 3-Year MVR required to be supplied at interview)
• Pass a complete DOT physical and a pre-employment drug screen
