Job summary

Trinity Employment Specialists is seeking a Yard Spotter / Yard Jockey in Tulsa. The role moves trailers throughout the facility yard, docks them at the correct doors, and requires frequent climbing in and out of the yard truck while staying aware of safety procedures.

The ideal candidate has prior experience with yard equipment, understands safe trailer handling, and can work independently while maintaining accurate records and following safety rules.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience hauling, spotting, or moving trailers.
• Ability to operate a yard truck and maneuver trailers safely.
• Climb in/out of spotting truck throughout the shift.
• Jack up and hook up trailers safely and correctly.
• Work outdoors in varying seasonal weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Complete a daily yard truck inspection before starting shift.
• Record trailer movements and yard activity on forms.
• Safely operate the yard truck to move trailers in the yard.
• Move trailers in and out of dock doors and staging areas.
• Hook and unhook trailers as needed and perform jack/connection tasks.
• Position trailers at assigned doors and maintain safety awareness.
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns to a supervisor.
• Assist with other warehouse or yard duties as needed.

Yard Spotter / Yard JockeyPay: $25.00 per hourSchedule: 2nd shift Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM-12:00 AMJob Type: Full TimeYard Spotter / Yard Jockey – Must-Have RequirementsAt least 1 year of experience hauling, spotting, or moving trailers.Ability to safely operate a yard truck and maneuver trailers in a busy yard environment.Ability to climb in and out of a spotting truck throughout the workday.Ability to jack and hook up trailers safely and correctly.Ability to frequently walk, bend, climb, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.Ability to work outdoors in varying seasonal weather conditions.Valid CDL Class A license preferred.Yard Spotter / Yard Jockey – Position SummaryThe Yard Spotter / Yard Jockey is responsible for safely and efficiently moving trailers throughout the facility yard and positioning trailers at the appropriate dock doors. This position requires frequent climbing in and out of the yard truck, hooking and unhooking trailers, jacking trailers, walking, bending, and other physical activity.
