Job summary

Intuit is seeking year‑round TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide on‑site tax preparation and advisory services at TurboTax locations across the United States. You will work with clients in person and virtually, delivering end‑to‑end tax solutions, while building a local client base and a trusted community presence.

Role focuses on complex tax scenarios, collaboration with specialists, and growth of TurboTax services within the local market.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency‑based up‑skilling, cross‑training of other products or offerings, and professional development.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and allow advertising with name/photo for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content and resources for your community per Intuit policy.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Build and grow a new local customer base, identify prospects, and lead local events with marketing support.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma as appropriate.
• Build Relationships - Develop long‑term relationships and trust with clients.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - Ensure a professional, client‑focused service experience in person and via TurboTax tools.
