Intuit, Inc. seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax preparation and expert tax advice at a local TurboTax location.

You will handle diverse tax situations, communicate clearly in plain language, and collaborate with a team of specialists to deliver a seamless end-to-end service. You will also act as a community ambassador, building a local client base through outreach and events, while leveraging Intuit’s ecosystem of services such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial

Qualifications

• EA or CPA or attorney with tax prep experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office location, 20 hours per week minimum.
• Must complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and consent to advertising with name/photo.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base and build relationships.
• Connect clients with the Intuit ecosystem and complementary services like bookkeeping and payroll.
• Build long-term relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Assist in local events and marketing initiatives to raise brand awareness.
