Job summary

Intuit is seeking dedicated year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax return preparation, offer expert tax advice, and support software tools while helping local clients navigate complex financial situations.

You will grow the TurboTax client base through community outreach, collaborate with a network of specialists, and ensure a best-in-class customer experience in person and via virtual meetings.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert for the community.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - grow local client base through outreach and partnerships.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.
• Build Relationships - turn single transactions into long-term client engagements.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - ensure professionalism and help clients achieve financial goals.
