Job summary

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax returns, while helping clients navigate personal and business finances and expanding local client relationships.

You’ll work onsite with a team of professionals, collaborate to deliver end-to-end tax services, and participate in community outreach to grow the local TurboTax presence.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with tax preparation experience or strong knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 tax returns per season.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training.
• Must work onsite at a TurboTax office, typically 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, 20 hours/week minimum.
• Willing to complete all required training and potential uniform requirements.
• Interest in building a local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert, bilingual skills a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond simple filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - grow a new local customer base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, planning, or Credit Karma services.
• Build Relationships - turn one-time transactions into long-term client relationships.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - professional service, helping clients reach financial goals using video tools.
