Job summary

Intuit seeks energetic individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team. You will prepare tax returns, provide expert advice, and support clients in person and virtually from a TurboTax location in the United States.

You will collaborate with specialists across business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and planning to deliver end-to-end client experiences. You’ll grow the local client base, build long-term relationships, and participate in community events, with marketing tools to support

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent) or CPA or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 20+ hours/week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday.
• Willing to complete required training and to wear Intuit uniforms; use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interested in building local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert; bilingual skills a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond simple filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, personal and business income, deductions, and amendments.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - grow local client base through outreach, events, partnerships, referrals, and local marketing.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - connect clients to Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, planning, or Credit Karma.
• Build Relationships - develop long-term trust and repeat business with clients.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - ensure professionalism and support clients' financial goals across channels.
